Dear Members,

It is with great sadness that we announce that after 60 years of serving our community, Round Top Swim and Tennis Club will not be opening for the upcoming season and will be permanently closing operations.

Over the years, our club has been much more than a swimming facility. It has been a place where families gathered, friendships were formed, children grew up, and countless summer memories were made. We are incredibly proud of the role the club has played in the lives of so many families across generations.

This decision was not made lightly. Like many community organizations, the club has faced increasing financial challenges in recent years, including rising operational and maintenance costs, along with declining membership levels. Despite considerable efforts to address these challenges and explore possible alternatives, it has become clear that continuing operations is no longer financially sustainable.

We understand this news will be deeply disappointing to many of our members, and we share in that disappointment. The support, loyalty, and sense of community you have brought to the club over the past six decades have meant more than words can express.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to every member, employee, volunteer, and board member who contributed to making Round Top such a special place throughout its 60-year history. The memories created here will remain an important part of our community for years to come.
